I have had the privilege of designing a bunch of things for AMYS Martial Arts over the years. Here are a few new items that were added to the group over the last year.
First up is a t-shirt for a new class that was added to the schedule last month for toddlers 18m through two years old. It was fun taking the kid cartoons that we’ve used off and on and make them look like toddlers.
Next up is a youth tee that I’ve seen a few wear in class already. We literally used some Paw Patrol t-shirts as inspiration for these. If we had an unlimited budget, I wanted the kids on the back to all be different color belts. But alas, it’s kind of pricey to screen print a graphic that’s like 10 colors.
One more item we did was a redo of a graphic the studio had made way back before my family joined up. I recreated this word cloud with a new typeface, rearranged the words a bit, added some, and then made a new silhouette for the back of one of our youth sparring athletes, Madi. I really like how it turned out.
Our state championship tournament is coming up next week, so I wonder if I’ll be designing a State Champs tee in the coming weeks?
