My sister and her fiancé, Michael wanted to send out a holiday card that shared a bit about the fun stuff they did in 2014. The biggest event was that they got engaged!! We used the polaroid photo collage that I used for my family's 2012 holiday card and made it work for their images.
As you can see, they love to be active and outside.

My grandparents were celebrating their 90th birthdays and their 67th wedding anniversary. Our entire family made the trek to Kansas City to celebrate with them. Because it was the biggest event we were celebrating since their 50th anniversary, my aunts asked me to create an invitation to commemorate the occasion. It also served as a way to let guests know what get-togethers were happening throughout the course of the weekend.
I used Cobalt pocketfolds from Cards and Pockets and learned that six is the maximum amount of inserts that will fit into the pocket when they are printed on card stock.
I created wraparound address labels for matching envelopes and each pocketfold was held closed with a circle of the patterned paper.
Ellen and Mark were having a wedding that joined traditions from both of their families. One of those traditions was having a Chinese wedding invitation. They used my own wedding invitation as inspiration and we went from there. They really wanted to have some fun with the text.
When it came to the inserts, they wanted each one to be unique.

Lindsey's BFF Carrie contacted me thru Etsy wanting to customize a cootie catcher as an invitation for the baby shower she was helping plan. The shower was to have a travel theme with lots of maps and globes as part of the decor. Unfold and you can read the details for the shower.
Carrie folded each cootie catcher and then placed them into cupcake boxes to be mailed. I LOVE how these turned out!!
Nora's mommy, Laura wanted a non-traditional birth announcement for hey daughter (she already did a fun Top Gun movie poster for her older son). I was thrilled to get to play with this fun theme!

For her 3rd birthday, Clara wanted a dinosaur theme and her mommy, Kelly made it happen! Kelly had already purchased a birthday t-shirt for Clara that had orange gingham on it, so we continued that pattern on a few items.
In addition to the invitation, we also did a pennant banner.
The food signs (below) and the favor tags (above) were the same tags, I just sent a writable file to Kelly so she could type whatever she wanted into the space and then print them. Mmmm, I want a Nutella lava cake!
Lastly we did a single circle with the number three done in the same gingham pattern from the other items.

Phi was a pleasure to work with on the invitations for her April wedding. I loved the pocketfolds she was planning to use and did my best to create a flourish that coordinated with them.
I love the layout, it's not an orientation that's used very often.
We created five different inserts, including one that listed all of the wedding party and the couple's "sponsors." I learned that in many Filipino families (especially Catholic ones) they have sponsors that are godparents. They all have a small role in a Catholic wedding ceremony and it's tradition to have them listed for guests to know who they all are.
The wording on the rsvp card made me chuckle a bit.
Sara and Michael were welcoming their first baby with a fun baby shower shared with friends and family. Sara picked a color scheme and wanted the invitations to have a storybook/library feel to them. We immediately thought of the library pocket cards that used to be in library books and the ideas took off from there.
Funny enough, our kids will never know and understand what those library pockets were for!
The front of the invitation mimicked a page from a storybook.
Flipping the invitation over revealed a pocket and the faux library card. It included important dates in their history along with rsvp and registry information. I used the Plum card stock from Paper Source to make the pockets.
The back of the library card contained a map to the baby shower venue.
In lieu of address labels, I was able to rig my printer to print directly onto the white envelopes. The front lists some of Michael and Sara's favorite book titles.
