Since my husband is an only child, our two boys are the only grandkids for his parents. My MIL comes from a large family with lots of siblings and nieces and nephews. So she loves to show off the accomplishments of her grandsons and spoil them as much as she can. Every year, she asks me to create a holiday card for her to send out to family and friends. She sends it via email or text, and every year it’s been fun to create something new.
She never wants me to send different concepts to choose from, just a finished holiday card. I’m more than happy to oblige.

I think the best part of seeing all of these cards together is the vertical growth my kids have had the last few years. My MIL is maybe 5’1”, and my oldest is taller than me now at 5’10”. I bet my youngest will be taller than my MIL by next spring.
