Emiliano's 1st Birthday

I had the pleasure of working with Emiliano's mommy, Karina on the items for his first birthday party. They were going with a cowboy theme and wanted to use softer aqua and cream colors. I love how it all turned out!

In addition to the invitation we created custom water bottle labels, complete with a customized "nutrition label."

Stickers for trail mix and s'mores favors:

And a cover for a coloring book.

Happiest birthday E!!

Sanford Cellars Wine Labels

My Uncle Mark makes wine as a hobby. But not as a let's-make-a-bottle-of-wine-and-see kind of hobby, more like let's-buy-one-ton-of-grapes-and-make-twenty-gallons-of-zinfandel kind of hobby. He's entered his wine into state and county fairs and likes to give it as holiday gifts too. And as a family member, I'm always happy to help with crushing or bottling when I'm in town if the timing is right. It's fascinating to learn about the process, even down to the chemistry.

And his Zindandel and Viognier are my favorites.

This was the first label I created when he first got started. I did the grapes and leaves in watercolor and then added the text in Photoshop.

I created this label a couple of years later using a photo that a friend took of my uncle while he was harvesting grapes.

There's actually a second version of this label where the grapes are green and his hat is red, thanks to the magic of Adobe Photoshop. That label is used when he's bottling white wine.

I think it's time for a new one... any ideas?

Sweet Pea Baby Shower

I created this baby shower suite for my friend's baby shower a few years ago and then I expanded on the theme to create a suite that is available in my Etsy shop or can be customized.

The graphic at the top shows two peas in this mama's family, but I also have it available with just one pea.

The invitations are sized to fit a #10 envelope and the text below the "peas join us" can be edited. There's space at the bottom to list the mom-to- be's registry info.

Simple cupcake toppers. We tried to top cupcakes with crushed Oreo cookies to give the illusion of dirt, but I don't think it was very successful.

Napkin rings. These can also be wrapped around candles or vases.

Don't have fun swirly napkins?? I made these with some pinking shears. No need to hem!

The welcome banner!

Water bottle labels. These have a baby-themed nutritional label on the back.

Place cards. These can also be food labels for a buffet.

Favor boxes. These are about two inches cubed and are kind of a pain in the butt to assemble, but they are adorable once you're done!

Lastly, I made a baby-themed crossword puzzle. I can always customize this for clues specific to you and your family, just shoot me a message or email and we can discuss pricing.

Tim Colbert & Associates Holiday Card - 2011 & 2012

I had a blast working on this fun holiday card for a firm in northern California. They work with clients in the dairy industry, hence the milk references.

This simple message was on the inside of the folded card:

The following year we changed up the colors and fonts a little bit, but kept the same overall look.

Kelly & Patrick

I was thrilled when Kelly, contacted me to do the invitations for her wedding. She and Patrick wanted simple and traditional invitations and we showcased a bit of a travel theme in the other items. Check it out!

They added rhinestones at the top and bottom of the invitation for a little added sparkle.

The invitation was mounted on what's called a panel pocket. Flip the invitation over and there's a pocket to hold the inserts.

It was actually quite a challenge to find envelopes that would fit an rsvp card that was sized to fit in the pocket.

For a program, we used 8.5x11 card stock and folded it in half into a small booklet. It's kind of amazing how much information you can fit!

We even managed to fit some fun facts about the bride and groom!

Each table was named after a place that Kelly and Patrick had visited when they were dating. The back of each card told a little story about each trip.

Kelly and I created a few signs for her wedding too... but we have no photos of them. It was an honor to get to attend this wedding with my husband. But you know what? I forgot to bring my camera! I was so excited to have a dressed-up night out without kids that I completely forgot. There was even more that I could have photographed! Such is life.
