Hi, I’m Alex (she/her), an artist and designer based in Utah’s Salt Lake Valley. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and fell in love with living in the mountains when my family moved to Utah 15 years ago.

I’m a multidisciplinary creative with nearly 20 years of experience in visual design and traditional art. I help small businesses, nonprofits, and solopreneurs bring their brands to life through thoughtful design—everything from logos, social media graphics, and marketing materials to apparel mockups, workbooks, and media kits.

Alongside design, I’m also a painter and illustrator working in watercolor, ink, gouache, and occasionally acrylics or oils. My work is inspired by nature, waterfalls, red rock, sunsets, and starry skies. I create original art, prints, stickers, and illustrations for books and creative projects.

When I’m not designing or painting, you’ll usually find me outdoors, reading (I try to finish 100+ books a year), or on the sidelines of a taekwondo tournament, track meet, or soccer game with my camera in hand. I began practicing taekwondo at 40 and earned my 1st degree black belt in 2021. Since then I’ve become a two-time Utah State Champion in poomsae and won gold in board breaking at the 2025 USA Taekwondo National Championships.

Over the years I’ve had the chance to work with some wonderful organizations, including OutGrown (formerly Hike it Baby), Land Beyond Zion Tours, Líllébaby, Wolfpack Running Club, Spirit For Us, Zion Adventure Photog, and AMYS Martial Arts.

I’m always excited to collaborate with people who want to bring creative ideas to life—whether that’s a brand identity, illustration project, or something entirely new.
