Twin Castle Cellars Wine Label

I created this wine label for a very small vintner in the Livermore Valley in California. She wanted to use an illustration of a pair of castles that are close to where she grew up in the label. She grew up near Manderschied, Germany and used to play in these castles when she was a little girl.

Here's what I came up with:

I created the image using watercolor along with pen and ink. Then I scanned the illustration and added the text in Photoshop.

I really love how it turned out, and when it's printed on a textured, adhesive paper, it looks like an original watercolor.

Audrey's Birth Announcement

When Audrey was born, her mommy and daddy had JUST moved into their new house. They closed escrow on her due date! It was also a great time for them to combine both announcements with their holiday card. So that's what we did!

We included a Christmas greeting and the family's new address (no, that's not their actual address!).

Welcome to the world Audrey!

Allie's 1st Birthday

Allie's mommy, Bonnie contacted me about some items for a gnome-themed birthday party. I loved this theme so much! Check out what we came up with:

Wraparound address labels. It's all printed onto one strip of adhesive paper and the return address wraps around to the back of the envelope. And yes, the return address totally said "Allie's Gnomies"!

Favor tags.

Napkin rings.

Using the gnome characters and the mushrooms, I created a pattern that Bonnie printed onto a few pennant flags for a simple and cute banner.

Happy birthday Allie!!

Nathan's 3rd Birthday

I've had the pleasure of working with Nathan's mommy, Cari on the birthday items for his birthday every year. You can see past birthdays here: 1st birthday, 2nd birthday.

His favorite movie this year is Monsters Inc and he wanted a monsters theme to his birthday. I was oh so happy to oblige.

These monsters were so fun to create!

We made a sign for the party favors too:

And a fun coloring book for the kids in attendance:

It was simple, just an 8.5x11 page folded in half and printed on both sides.

I love how everything turned out. Happy Birthday Nathan!

Our Holiday Card - 2013

Even though we took some great family photos in July of 2013 with my dear friend Cari Hollis, it took me forever to design a holiday card and get them printed and mailed. I was newly pregnant and dealing with all of the "fun" that comes with the first trimester. Knowing I wouldn't get them out before Christmas, I turned them into a Happy New Year card instead of a Christmas card. I thought they turned out pretty awesome.

VistaPrint continues to wow me with their print quality and affordability.

This design is one of the ones I have listed for sale in my Etsy shop. Check it out!

Happy New Year!!
